Arrow  Senior Research Scientist in Surface Chemistry/Biopolymer Deposition



CYTOO is looking for an enthusiastic individual to develop surface chemistries based on biopolymers on glass with defined mechanical/chemical properties such as porosity, stiffness, biocompatibility and cytophobicity.


The ideal candidate would possess:

• A PhD degree in Polymer and Surface Chemistry with a focus on biomaterial synthesis, modification and characterization.
• Hands on experience of culturing adherent mammalian cell lines on biopolymer scaffolds.
• Expertise in Physico-chemical and mechanical characterization of biological materials
• At least 2 years experience in the above or related fields
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Motivation to work in a challenging, multidisciplinary environment with a strong team spirit.
• Ability to communicate fluently in English and French

Arrow  Image Analysis Specialist (France)
CYTOO has a position open in Image Analysis Development

CYTOO is looking for an enthusiastic and creative individual to imagine and develop new algorithms in cell image processing and analysis taking advantage of our unique technology for cell normalization. This position is at the core of our strategic development to offer to our customers the consumables, methodologies and service to fully unleash the power of adhesive micropatterns in quantitative cell analysis.

The ideal candidate would possess:
• A PhD degree in Cell Biology or in Physics with a focus on algorithm development for
advanced image analysis in 2D and 3D. A PhD in biomedical image analysis with a Master's in
mathematics, physics (in particular optics), computer science, electrical or biomedical
engineering could be also acceptable.
. Excellent expertise in imaging including time lapse, confocal, automated high resolution
microscopy and techniques of TIRF, FRET, etc...Experience in computer programming (C++,
VBA) as well as multiple image analysis softwares (ImageJ, Matlab, CellProfiler, Definiens)
. Competencies in high content instrumentation (such as PerkinElmer Opera, GE InCell2000)
their respective analysis software and image data storage and management
. Knowledge of statistics and analysis of high content data sets
. Excellent oral and written communication skills with an ability to communicate fluently in
English and French
. At least 4 years experience in the above or related fields gained in an industrial or academic
setting
. Motivation to work in a challenging, multidisciplinary environment with a strong team spirit
