These CYTOOchips bear thousands of normalizing micropatterns which standardize cell shape and morphology down to their internal organization.
Standard shapes include Disc, Crossbow, H, Y and L in three sizes.
A Starter's CYTOOchip offers 4 geometries in 3 sizes, ideal to identify which micropattern(s) work best for your application and cell line.
Micropatterns are available in fibronectin (fluorescently labeled or unlabeled) or as "Ready-to-Coat" surfaces. Protocols are available to coat proteins such as collagen, PLL, laminin or Matrigel®.
Benefits and key features • Normalization of cell morphology and behavior • Improved assay reproducibility and increased sensitivity • Powerful quantification of cell phenotype: Reference Cell™ • Exquisite control over the cell's adhesive microenvironment • Control of the location of cell compartments and protein networks • Straightforward robust image analysis • Single cell isolation and arraying • Easy localization of individual cells; comparative microscopy • Ideal for AFM, TIRF and high-resolution dynamic microscopy • Easier time-lapse experiments on immobilized cells

Cell normalization offers easy quantification and unequaled sensitivity in drug assays The effect of 5 μM blebbistatin can be easily quantified on L micropatterns (top) whereas is barely visible on conventional 2D culture vessels (bottom). Control 5 µM Blebbistatin
