CYTOOplates are glass-bottom microplates with thousands of adhesive micropatterns in each well.
CYTOOplates are the world’s only adhesive micropattern technology available in multi-well format and suitable for high resolution high-throughput microscopy and High Content Screening.
CYTOOplates are available in 96well standard SBS format with a range of standard and custom patterns and adhesive proteins suitable for various applications and assays. CYTOOplates allow you to control the cells' microenvironment in multi-well format.
Mounted with ANSI/SBS 1-2004 standard black upper frame structures using biocompatible low autofluorescence adhesive, they are compatible with all common HCS imaging platforms and lab automation instruments.
The glass bottom is a sheet of 170µm thick optical grade borosilicate glass which ensures compatibility with high resolution fluorescence microscopy.
The microplates are supplied with clear polystyrene lids and are packaged individually under inert gas.
Cell Seeding
Your cell seeding protocol remains unchanged and the cells attach and spread onto the adhesive micropatterns arrayed over the well's surface. The number of micropatterns per well depends on pattern size and pitch. For CYTOOplates Cell Normalization the quantity of patterns per well varies from 2350 to 6000 in each well. The optimal cell seeding density changes accordingly and can be easily optimized for the given pattern, cell line and assay.
